Overview
The 3-day tour from Marrakech to Fes via the Sahara desert is a highly sought-after excursion, as it connects two of Morocco’s imperial cities. This tour allows you to explore a significant portion of southern Morocco, starting in the ochre city of Marrakech, crossing the picturesque Atlas mountains, and passing through stunning landscapes and perched Berber villages that blend in seamlessly with the mountains. Along the way, you’ll visit the famous kasbahs of Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate, both known for their cinematic appeal. The first night is spent in a traditional yet comfortable hotel in the heart of the Dades gorges. On the second day, you’ll take a short walk through the Todgha immense gorges before making your way to the arid plains of Merzouga, marking the beginning of the desert.
