Marrakech: 5-Day Desert Trip via Kasbahs & Oasis.

After enjoying breakfast at your Marrakech hotel, embark on a journey to Zagora by traversing the majestic Tizi-n-Tichka pass, which sits at an altitude of 2260 meters. En route, stop at Ouarzazate to visit the Taourirt Kasbah and savor a delicious lunch. Continue your journey through Agdz, a stunning route that meanders through the mountains and leads to Zagora, where you will dine and spend the night at a hotel. Located in the Souss-Massa-Draa region of southeastern Morocco, Zagora is situated in the valley of the Draa River, with the Zagora Mountain as its backdrop. The mountain's name is derived from the Berber word "Tazagourt," which means "twin peaks," referring to the mountain's shape. Despite being depicted on ancient European maps, the town itself was only constructed in the 20th century. At the top of the mountain lies the remains of an Almoravid fortress, and the former location of the Almoravid mosque remains a topic of debate. As a well-known sign at the town's border indicates, it takes 52 days to travel on foot or by camel to Timbuktu, Mali.

We will embark on a drive to Merzouga, passing by the Draa Valley which offers breathtaking landscapes along the way. This route also allows us to explore beautiful and sleek Ksours. You will have ample opportunities to stop along the way and capture some beautiful pictures. We will have lunch on the road before arriving in Merzouga, where you will have the chance to ride camels to the camps inside the desert. You will be able to witness an outstanding view and watch the sunset, followed by an unforgettable night in the camps. The desert provides a reliable location for those looking to enjoy adventurous camel treks and camping under the sparkling starry skies.

After waking up early in the morning at the desert camp, you will have the opportunity to witness the magnificent sunrise. Then, ride camels back to the hotel for a refreshing shower and breakfast. Our next destination is the Rose Valley, and on the way, we will visit an ancient irrigation system and take a break to enjoy some Berber tea. After that, we will head to the Todgha Gorge, where we will have lunch and explore the beautiful Gorge. Later on, we will take the road to the Dades Valley and visit the Dades Gorge before continuing on to the Roses Valley. Spend a delightful night at your hotel in Boutghrar, also known as the "Roses Valley".

After a restful sleep, you can start your day with a delicious breakfast and take in the fresh air and beautiful scenery of the valley. You will have some free time in the morning to explore the area on foot. Later, we will make our way to Ait Ben Haddou, stopping in Sokoura to visit the Kasbah Ameridil. We will then continue on to Ait Ben Haddou, stopping to visit the Ouarzazate cinema studio along the way. The Kasr Ait Ben Hadou, located in the foothills on the southern slopes of the High Atlas in the Province of Ouarzazate, is the most famous ksar in the Ounila Valley and is a striking example of southern Moroccan architecture. It is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Centre. You will enjoy dinner and spend the night at your hotel in Ait ben Haddou.

Once you have had your breakfast in Ait Ben Haddou, we will head back to Marrakech. Upon arriving in Marrakech, we will drop you off at your hotel or riad, and our services will come to an end.
