Marrakech: 6-Day Desert Trek Classic Tour.

We will journey through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n Tichka (2260m) to reach Ait Ben Haddou, where we'll have lunch and take a one-hour stroll to explore the beautiful Berber architecture and historic Kasr Ait Ben Hadou. The ksar is a traditional pre-Saharan habitat consisting of earthen buildings surrounded by high walls, with houses crowding together within the defensive walls, reinforced by corner towers. Aït Benhaddou has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and has been featured in several movies. Afterward, we will continue our drive to reach "African Hollywood" Ouarzazate, where we will spend the night in a hotel. Ouarzazate is a famous film-making location, with many international film companies shooting their films in Morocco's biggest studios and the surrounding area. Ouarzazate is an attractive, peaceful, palm oasis town with towering palms, wide streets, beautiful red earthed Riads, pavement cafes, and the partly restored Kasbah Taourirt, recognized by UNESCO.

We will embark on a journey towards the Dades Valley, also known as the "Valley of the 1000 Kasbahs". Our route takes us through Skoura, where we will visit the Oasis of Skoura and the ancient Kasbah Amerhidil. Continuing our journey, we will reach the Roses Valley, where we will stop for lunch. The Valley of Roses is situated at the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, where it meets the Dadès Valley. The Asif M’Goun river irrigates the area, and the main village is Kelaat M’Gouna. Rose cultivation is a significant activity here, which occurs in two geographical regions, the first being about 10 km from Kelaat M'Gouna village and continuing for 10 km until it reaches the town of Boumalne Dadès. After relishing a unique lunch amid the world-renowned roses, we will head towards the Dades Valley to spend an unforgettable night at a natural hotel surrounded by fields and a river.

After a restful night's sleep, you can wake up to a delicious breakfast and breathe in the fresh air of the surrounding village. We will begin our day by visiting the Dades Gorges and then continue our journey to Merzouga, passing through Boumalne Dades and stopping at the Todgha Gorge (which is 300 meters high) in Tinghir. The Todgha Gorges are located on the eastern side of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, and are renowned worldwide for their breathtaking canyons. We will have lunch on the way and visit an ancient irrigation system before continuing our drive to Merzouga, the "Desert Dream." We will spend the night in a hotel there.

After a regular morning wake-up and breakfast, we will visit the holy lake and an ancient Berber village with Gnaoua music. We will provide you with a special lunch, Berber pizza. After lunch, you can return to the hotel for some rest. Later, get ready to ride camels and head to the desert campsite amidst the dunes, where you can spend the night under the stars in a Berber tent. Alternatively, if you prefer to relax at your hotel until evening, you can join us at the campsite later.

We will take the Draa Valley route to reach Zagora, which offers stunning landscapes and an opportunity to explore beautiful Ksours. The driver will make stops for you to capture some beautiful pictures and have lunch on the way. Once we arrive at Zagora, we will spend a night there. Zagora is situated in the Souss-Massa-Draâ region of southeastern Morocco, in the Draa River valley. The town is named after the Zagora Mountain, which flanks it. The original Berber name for the town was "Tazagourt," meaning twin peaks, referring to the mountain's shape. While the mountain is already marked on old European maps, the town itself was constructed in the 20th century. The remains of an Almoravid fortress can still be seen atop the Zagora Mountain, and the precise location of the former Almoravid mosque remains a matter of debate. A famous sign at the town's border reads "Tomboktu 52 days," the supposed amount of time it takes to reach Timbuktu, Mali, on foot or by camel. During our stay, you will have the opportunity to discover the unique charm of this town and learn about its fascinating history.

As we drive back to Marrakech, we can't help but feel a sense of happiness and contentment. The journey may be coming to an end, but the memories we've made will stay with us forever. We share stories and laughter, reminiscing about all the wonderful places we've visited and the people we've met along the way
