This tour covers Morocco’s highlights in only 8 days, taking you from the bustle of Marrakech to the serenity of the Sahara Desert and back via the Blue City of Chefchaouen. An action-packed itinerary showcasing the best of Morocco’s Imperial Cities, Middle Atlas and Sahara landscapes.

Program Détails
Our representative will pick you up from Marrakech Menara Airport and take you to your hotel or riad in Marrakech.
Upon your arrival at Marrakech Airport, our representative will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name written on it. You will then be escorted to the transport and taken directly to the entrance of the hotel or riad
At 8 AM, you will have a private guided walking tour of Marrakech Medina with an official local guide. You will see the famous Koutoubia Mosque, explore the medina and its souks, and discover some of Marrakech's secrets like Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school and the Saadian tombs.
When the tour finishes, you will meet your driver and depart to the High Atlas mountains, passing through the Tizi N'Tichka pass with stops for panoramic views and photographs of the Berber villages tucked into the landscape.
Then we continue south to the ksar (fortified village) of Aït Ben Haddou where we will visit the famous UNESCO World Heritage listed Kasbah. Many famous films have been shot here like Gladiator, The Mummy and Sahara.
Next we continue to Ouarzazate also known as "The door of the desert" in Berber which means "without noise or confusion". Here we'll see the Taourirt kasbah, one of the most spectacular kasbahs in Morocco and check into your hotel/riad. Overnight stay in standard accommodation.

After breakfast, we will start our journey to Merzouga desert. We will pass through the Rose Valley going via the large Skoura palm grove, a beautiful place with more than 700,000 palms and numerous kasbahs built in the surrounding area. In this Valley damascene roses are grown for making rosewater.
Later we reach the Dades valley where you can see the amazing "monkey toes" rock formation, and the still-standing 19th century Kasbah of Ait Yul. Leaving the Dades valley towards Tinrghir and after some stops along the way, we'll arrive at the Todra Gorges. The scenery is spectacular. At the Gorge, you'll walk beneath the 300m high red cliff, popular with rock climbers. Local people live in the area and can be seen in their adobe villages.
After a short walk in the Todra gorges we continue our journey to Erfoud and Rissani where we'll have lunch and afterwards we'll leave for the village of Merzouga.
In the afternoon get ready for a 1 hour camel trek to enjoy the sunset over the dunes. On your dromedary, you will continue to the camp. Dinner and spend the night in a bivouac tent in the middle of the dunes. Overnight stay in a standard desert camp.
Highlights of the day will include:
• Passing through the Rose Valley and Skoura palm grove
• Seeing the 'monkey toes' rock formation and Ait Yul kasbah
• Walking in the Todra Gorges beneath the towering cliffs
• A camel trek at sunset to the desert camp in Merzouga
In the early morning, we will wake up to enjoy and admire the beautiful sunrise over the desert and take photos of the sunrise over the dunes, undoubtedly one of the best moments in the Merzouga desert.
After a typical breakfast in our camp, we will return by camels to the base to take a shower and then we will take the road to Fez passing through the beautiful Ziz Valley, Errachidia, Midelt to the Cedar Forest where we will stop to visit the famous wild monkeys.
We continue our desert journey through the Middle Atlas mountains until arriving at Fez in the evening.
Some key points along the way will include:
• Enjoying the stunning desert sunrise over the dunes
• Returning from our desert camp via camel
• Passing through the scenic Ziz Valley
• Stopping in Midelt and the Cedar Forest to see the wild monkeys
• Driving through the striking Middle Atlas mountain range
• Arriving in the historical city of Fez in the evening
After breakfast, you will meet with a local tour guide to explore Fes, one of the oldest and holiest of the Imperial cities. Your cultural and historical walking tour will take you through the 2000-year-old living medina. A maze of narrow streets filled with markets and souks, craftsmen, donkeys and mules carrying loads.
You will visit Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas (Islamic universities), the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the Karaouine Mosque and of course the Chouara tannery.
Later you will meet your driver and depart for the enchanting mountain village of Chefchaouen. A scenic drive through fertile agricultural land will take you up into the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen is famous for its vivid blue houses.
Overnight stay will be in standard accommodation.

Overall, this day will give you a taste of Fes' rich history, culture and Islamic heritage before arriving in the tranquil mountain retreat of Chefchaouen.
This morning you will have the opportunity to explore Chefchaouen and its stunning walled medina. Enjoy a walking tour through Chefchaouen's cobbled medina, soaking up the Moorish and Spanish atmosphere. Admire the striking blue-and-white houses and visit the 18th-century kasbah, with its tower, garden, and museum.
The main square is the heart of Chefchaouen and features an 18th century kasbah, central mosque, and cafés with authentic Moroccan cuisine. The old medina is small but easy to explore with souks offering an array of goods.
Afterward, we will depart for Rabat, the capital of Morocco. You will explore the Imperial City of Rabat, including the Mechouar (the ramparts surrounding the Royal Palace), the majestic Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah overlooking the Atlantic Ocean offering fabulous views.
Continuing on to Casablanca where you will check into your accommodation. Overnight stay will be in standard accommodation.

This day will take you from the charming mountain village of Chefchaouen through Imperial Rabat to Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco.
After breakfast, you will visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, built in 1993 by a team over 6,000 craftsmen. Located on the shores of the city, it is an imposing edifice and one of the few mosques in Morocco that non-Muslims can enter.
Later we will depart Casablanca for Marrakech via the highway. Upon arrival, you will check into your accommodation. In the afternoon the best option is to explore the medina at your own pace. Overnight stay will be in standard accommodation.

This day will take you from Casablanca's modern coastal city to the ancient medina of Marrakech, giving you an architectural contrast between the cities as well as an impressive mosque to visit along the way.
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech as per your selected departure time and transfer you to Marrakech Menara Airport. This will mark the end of our service to you.
